After reports of racist behavior during England's test match against India at Edgbaston surfaced earlier this week, Birmingham Police claimed they detained a man on Friday.

On the fourth day of the test, which England won by seven wickets to tie the series at 2-2, a number of supporters claimed on Twitter that they had been the victim of racial taunts from other spectators at the Birmingham venue.

Due to accusations of racist and abusive behavior at the test match on Monday in Birmingham, a 32-year-old man was detained, according to a statement from Birmingham Police.
