The number of Covid-19 cases in India increased to 4,41,26,994 as a result of 19,406 new coronavirus infections being reported in a single day, but the number of active cases decreased to 1,34,793, according to data updated on Saturday by the Union Health Ministry.
The figures updated at 8 am showed that the death toll had increased to 5,26,649 with 49 more fatalities.
The ministry reported that the national Covid-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.50%, while the active cases make up 0.31 percent of all infections.
The number of active Covid-19 instances has dropped by 571 over the past 24 hours.
According to the statement, the weekly positivity rate was 4.63 percent and the daily positivity rate was 4.96 percent.
