
When a bus carrying more than 30 security officers from the ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police) and the Jammu and Kashmir Police met with an accident on Tuesday while travelling to Pahalgam, roughly 90 km from Srinagar, a significant rescue effort was undertaken. According to reports, six ITBP soldiers have died, and those who have been hurt are being flown to the Military Hospital in Srinagar.
"Six ITBP members were killed and several others were injured in a road accident near Chandanwari Pahalgam in the Anantnag district, and they are currently being transported to the Army hospital in Srinagar for treatment. According to reports, the bus was transporting 39 people—two from the Jammu and Kashmir police and 37 from the ITBP.
