Following the closure of one of the Hero Honda Chowk's carriageways, there was severe traffic congestion on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway's Jaipur-Delhi carriageway on Wednesday morning (HHC).
The amount of traffic was so bad that there was a five-kilometer-long line of cars waiting to cross the Cloverleaf flyover from the intersection.
The 4.7-kilometer section, which normally takes commuters 10 minutes to complete, is now taking them almost 45 minutes.
Since the start of the morning rush hour at 8.45am, the situation has not changed.
Traffic police officers in Gurugram redirected traffic from the toll bypass road, which is 3 km before the Kherki Daula toll plaza, to Sohna Road, Golf Course Extension Road, and Southern Peripheral Road (SPR).
