The domestic departure pier and international arrival baggage areas at Terminal 3, as well as between T3 arrivals and the multi-level parking at the Delhi Airport, will all have better signal strength, seamless connectivity, and faster data speeds for passengers with 5G-enabled mobile phones and SIM cards.

Days before the nation's official debut of the services, the New Delhi International Airport has enabled 5G for travellers.

According to the GMR group, which manages the airport, passengers with 5G-enabled mobile phones and SIM cards will benefit from stronger signals, seamless connectivity, and faster data speeds at Terminal 3's domestic departure pier and international arrival baggage area, as well as between T3 arrivals and multi-level parking (MLCP).

The rollout of the 5G network throughout the T3 terminal will take place in stages.

"Lower latency and quicker speeds are available on the 5G network. This aspect of the newest mobile technology would increase connection density at the airport, as well as productivity and efficiency, and speed up decision-making "CEO of Delhi International Airport Limited, Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, told PTI.
