On November 11 and 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for a two-day visit to inaugurate a number of development projects in the two Telugu states.

The Prime Minister will arrive in Visakhapatnam at 7.25 p.m. on November 11 via a special aircraft, according the schedule announced by the Andhra Pradesh government on Monday, and would then immediately head to the Chola suite of the Eastern Naval Command for a night stop.

On November 12, at a ceremony to be held on the premises of the Andhra University Engineering College, Modi would introduce a number of projects. Senior authorities, including Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the state chief minister, and members of his cabinet, would be present.

Later, before departing for Hyderabad at approximately 12.05 p.m., the Prime Minister would also speak to a public gathering from the same location.

The state administration is making plans to mobilise audiences for Modi's public meeting under the direction of V Vijay Sai Reddy, the general secretary of the YSR Congress party and a Rajya Sabha member. On condition of anonymity, a YSRCP leader stated, "The chief minister is expected to pitch for the establishment of three capitals for the state with executive capital in Visakhapatnam during the Prime Minister's visit and seek the Central help for the same."
