
The topic of this year's Constitution Day is "Bharat: Loktantra Ki Janani (India: The Mother Of Democracy)," and the preamble will be made available on the website readpreamble.nic.in in all 22 official languages.
For the day's events, the government has aimed to get as many officials, their families, and friends involved as possible. On the website constitutionquiz.nic.in, a quiz competition has been organised in connection with the festivities. Participation in the history and Constitution of India quiz is open to anyone with a working email address.
Since 2015, the government has observed November 26 as Constitution Day. On November 26, 1949, the Constituent Assembly passed the Constitution. It started working on January 26, 1950. On this day, homage is paid to Bhimrao Ambedkar, the chairman of the Constitution-drafting committee.
