An official stated on Friday that the cavalcade of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath came to a halt and made way for an ambulance.

The incident occurred near Raj Bhavan on Thursday, as the chief minister's cavalcade was travelling from Hazratganj to Bandariyabagh, according to DCP Traffic Subhash Chandra Shakya.

According to him, an ambulance was stopped along with other vehicles to allow the Chief Minister's cavalcade to pass.

"As soon as he (Mr Adityanath) noticed that an ambulance had been stopped to let his cavalcade to pass, he directed his security guys to pull over to the side of the road and allow the ambulance to pass," an official said.

Bhaskar Singh, a resident of Lucknow's Madiaon neighbourhood who was riding his motorcycle and came to a halt there, stated, "Chief Minister Yogi made a commendable humanitarian gesture. Everyone who was waiting for the cavalcade to pass was praising him."
