Police Search 7 Bengaluru Schools After Receiving A Bomb Threat In The Mail.

On Friday, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Kamal Pant claimed that seven schools in the city had received a bomb threat via e-mail, and that police teams were on the scene conducting checks.

Opalan International School in Mahadevapura, Delhi Public School in Varthur, New Academy School in Hennur, St Vincent Paul School in Hennur, and Indian Public School in Govindpura are among the schools.

Mr Pant replied, "Our local police are looking into it."

He stated that there is a drill, and the bomb squads have gone there to check it out.

"Our teams are checking there at the place based on the email," the Commissioner added. "When more information comes in, it will be shared with you (media)."
