One97 Communications, which owns Paytm, announced on Thursday that it has joined the Prime Ministers' Museum in the national capital as an official digital payments partner.
The 'Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya' (prime ministers' museum) was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday. It is a homage to every prime minister in the country since independence.
Modi was the first individual to purchase a ticket through the Paytm electronic data capture system at the inauguration, according to a statement from the business.
