Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann warned on Tuesday (May 10, 2022), hours after an explosion was reported at the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali, that "whoever tried to destroy the atmosphere of our Punjab will not be spared."

The blast is being investigated by police, according to Mann.

"The blast in Mohali is being investigated by the police. No one would be spared for attempting to degrade the atmosphere in our Punjab "In a tweet, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader remarked.

He has also summoned a meeting with Punjab DGP Viresh Kumar Bhawra and other high officials at his residence.

Meanwhile, in response to Mann's tweet, Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister and the AAP's leader, warned that the Punjab administration will not grant the wishes of individuals who wish to disrupt the province's calm.

The Mohali blast was also described by Kejriwal as a "cowardly act."

"Peace will be preserved under all conditions with the help of all Punjabis, and the perpetrators will be severely punished," he tweeted

A rocket-propelled grenade damaged windowpanes on one of the levels of the Punjab Police Intelligence Wing headquarters in Mohali on Monday night.

At around 7.45 p.m., an explosion occurred at the office in Mohali's sector 77. The explosion, on the other hand, caused no injuries.
