Rhythm Mamania, a 10-year-old skater from Mumbai, became one of the youngest Indian mountaineers when she climbed Everest base camp in 11 days.
Harshal and Urmi, her parents, joined her on the walk earlier this month.
"Rhythm, a Class 5 student at MET Rishikul Vidyalaya in suburban Bandra, arrived at the Everest base camp about 1 p.m. on May 6," her mother Urmi told PTI on Sunday.
The base camp is located at 5,364 metres, and she said the expedition took her 11 days to complete.
"Skating ring or base camp summit, it's the determination that gets you a long way," Rhythm, a Worli native, remarked.
