After a 12-day search, the body of the'missing' Haryanvi singer was discovered near Bhaini Bhairon hamlet. The singer, identified as Sangeeta, was last seen by her family on May 11 and filed an abduction report three days later.
According to ANI, the police detained two people in this case, one of whom confessed to the murder. Two suspects from Meham, Haryana, who were detained in the case revealed that they plotted to assassinate Sangeeta. They had contacted her under the guise of shooting a music video. The body has been maintained at PGI Rohtak, according to Delhi Police.
Since May 11, Sangeeta has been missing. Anil, the accused, has been detained and is being held in custody for five days. The case would be forwarded to Delhi Police after the post mortem. Strangulation appears to be the primary cause of death: Meham Police SI Vikas
