On Tuesday, two people died in the Aurangabad district after allegedly consuming fake liquor.
The liquor was brought into the state from Jharkhand, according to preliminary information.
So far, 70 people have been detained in connection with this case.
Saurabh Jorwal, the district magistrate of Aurangabad, told the news agency ANI, "Two people died in the Aurangabad district yesterday after swallowing fake liquor.
The booze was imported from Jharkhand, according to information received.
More research is being carried out."
Seventy persons have been taken into custody.
It is being worked on by ten teams.
