On Monday, May 30, the extended registration session for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, or UGC NET, will shut for the December 2021 and June 2022 merged cycles. Candidates who have not yet submitted an application for the exam can do so at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

On May 24, the application window was reopened. From May 31 to June 1, until 9:00 p.m., an application form editing service will be provided. Previously, the deadline to apply for the UGC NET was May 20.

"Candidates will be permitted to make adjustments in their particulars in their respective online application form (as per Annexure-1) at https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in from May 31 to June 1, 2022 (up to 09:00 P.M.)," according to the UGC notification.
