A terrorist shot and killed a bank manager from Rajasthan in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in the Valley's second targeted attack against Hindus in three days.

Vijay Kumar, the bank manager, was shot by a terrorist who entered the Elaqahi Dehati Bank branch in Areh. The killer is seen entering the branch, firing a shot, and fleeing on CCTV. When Vijay Kumar passed away, he was being transported to the hospital.

Kumar, a native of Rajasthan's Hanumangarh area, has lately started his new job in Kulgam.

The area has been blocked off, and police are working to find the terrorists who carried out the act.

The attack comes just two days after militants assassinated Rajni Bala, a Hindu teacher from Jammu, outside a school in Kulgam.

The assassination of the bank manager in Kulgam came just 24 hours after two significant incidents in the neighbouring Shopian region. Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, a civilian, was injured in a targeted terror strike inside his home late last night.

Three soldiers were hurt in another incident this morning after an explosion in their truck. One of the soldiers is in critical condition.

The three soldiers had taken a private vehicle for an anti-terrorist operation, according to the Army. The explosion happened as they were on their approach to the target area, they claimed.

Police are now attempting to determine whether the incident was triggered by an IED, a grenade, or a car battery issue. According to sources, the vehicle has been severely damaged, and it is unlikely that the damage was caused by battery problems.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan has denounced the murders and conveyed his sorrow. He also chastised the NDA government for failing to sustain the peace in Kashmir, saying that civilians' safety must be ensured.
