Numerous students are calling for the NEET-UG 2022 exam, which is set to be administered on July 17, 2022, to be postponed. With the hashtag #postponeetug2022, candidates from all over the nation are organising an online protest on social media, particularly on Twitter. The NEET-UG is scheduled too close to other entrance exams, particularly CUET, according to the entire online effort by students. Students claimed that because NEET is scheduled so close to the CUET-UG 2022 and JEE Main 2022 tests, it will be extremely challenging for all candidates to prepare for all of these entrance exams in such a short period of time.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is being questioned by students about how they expect to prepare such a large syllabus in just three months after the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate)-UG 2021 counselling finished in March and the 2022 edition is slated for July 17.

"How will we be able to cover such a large syllabus in just three months? Additionally, other significant tests like the Board Exams, CUCET, and JEE Mains are also planned for the same period of time. Imagine the stress and anguish that our students are experiencing as a result of having so many important tests scheduled one right after another. Is this a just outcome? "According to PTI, students have created an online petition.

"Please consider the students' position. The extensive 98-chapter syllabus can never be covered in 90 days. To adequately study for the exam, we need at least another four weeks "a Twitter user said.

Even the parents of NEET candidates have joined the Twitter movement calling for the delay of the medical entrance exam. "Being the mother of a neet aspirant, I am aware of the struggles my daughter faces because she can't even get any sleep. She seems tense and concerned. I kindly ask @narendramodi @dpradhanbjp to look into the situation and find a solution that benefits students "a Twitter user stated. (sic)
