The Shiv Sena said on Monday that it was now obvious that the BJP was "pulling the strings" amid the ongoing political unrest in the state as a result of the Centre giving rebel Shiv Sena MLAs in Maharashtra Y-plus protection. The dissident Sena MLAs under the leadership of Eknath Shinde were compared to "huge bulls" in an editorial in the Sena newspaper "Saamana," which claimed that they had been "sold" for Rs 50 crore. At least 15 dissident Shiv Sena MLAs received Y-plus security protection from CRPF commandos on Sunday, according to earlier reports.

Ramesh Bornare, Mangesh Kudalkar, Sanjay Shirsat, Latabai Sonawane, Prakas Surve, and ten other people received security coverage. The officials have stated that their family who reside in Maharashtra will also be safe. Once the MLAs arrive in Maharashtra, four to five commandos of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will be securing each one in shifts, they added.

According to an editorial in "Saamana," "The BJP has now been exposed. They claimed that the Shiv Sena's insurrection was an internal problem." "But in the dead of night, Devendra Fadnavis, the leader of the opposition, and the extremely wealthy Ekdas (Eknath) Shinde met in Vadodara. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, attended the meeting "it asserted.

By giving the breakaway MLAs Y-plus protection, the BJP claimed that their "treason" against Maharashtra had been exposed. The Sena added that by claiming that the rebel MLAs' lives are in danger, the Centre is violating state rights and that this is not the first instance of its "autocratic" behaviour.

As though they were the "protectors of democracy," the Centre promptly granted Y-plus security to the rebel MLAs following the meeting, according to a Marathi publication.

Is the Center concerned that the MLAs would rejoin their party once they return to the state? asked it. The editorial stated, "It is now clear that the BJP at the Centre and in the State have written the script for these actors (rebel MLAs), are pulling the strings, and are directing the entire performance."
